Mid summer pruning

Because of unseasonably long monsoon with limited sunshine, my 3rd plant is not doing well. Loosing most of the leaves experienced overwintering is not so good to see int he middle of summer here in Tokyo.

So, I decided to do hard prune on this plant, after hard pruning my first and second plant earlier this year. As I pruned this plant#3 last year, only one bud came out and it kept growing straight up. I thought it is good timing to do another hard prune to promote more buds.
